"Changing skin and changing lives"
As a mother of two young boys, my priorities and goals in life have changed. My kids have always come first. But I have realized in order to be the best mom, I need to take care of myself inside and out. I now make sure I carve out "me time" each day. Whether it is taking kickboxing or getting "Whipped by Janice" a few times a week, reading or spending a few minutes to take care of my skin, it has become a routine and an important aspect in my life.
Skin cancer runs in my family. In my teens and 20's, I didn't take the "risk" seriously. I can't change the past, but learn from my mistakes.
I watched my brother struggle with acne growing up and he lacked self confidence because of it.
